Beyonce's Accuses Kim Kardashian Of Being 'Desperate For Attention'

Looks like the blossoming friendship between Kim Kardashian and Beyonce has been put on ice as the the singer reportedly told the reality TV star off for trying to “steal” the attention from Jay Z during the recent filming of a documentary about the rapper.

Insiders claim the 'Countdown' singer was not happy that the 'Keeping Up With Kardashians'star was “desperate for attention” backstage at a recent gig in Philiadelphia, where her boyfriend Kanye West joined Jay-Z on stage, and told her exactly what she thought of her.

“Kim was desperate for attention in the VIP area and was getting in the way of cameras that were supposed to be filming Jay-Z,” a source told RadarOnline.

“She kept saying she was a huge fan of Ron Howard and would do anything to be cast in one of his films, so Kim was using this as an opportunity to impress the movie maverick.

“However, Beyonce wasn’t amused that Kim was using her husband’s documentary to audition for Ron.”

They explained: “So, she took Kim to one side and told her that the day wasn’t about her, it was about Jay-Z, his work in organizing the event and there were other celebrities and musicians there that needed coverage too.”

It might have been Jay Z's night but publicity loving Kim was reportedly angry that she wasn't the centre of attention for once.

The insider went on: “Kim was fuming that the spotlight wasn’t on her – but Ron was there for Jay-Z, not her, and he really didn’t care if she was or wasn’t taking part in any of the filming.”

The '99 Problems' star was forced to step in when the argument got out of hand and smoothed things over and told his wife to be “nice” to Kanye's girlfriend.

The source claimed: “Step forward Jay-Z, as gracious as he is, to act as peacemaker. He said to Beyonce that she needs to play nice with Kim because he is pals with Kanye.”

“But the damage was done. Later that night, Kim phoned her mom Kris to complain about the harsh treatment she thought she got at the festival.

They added: “She just isn’t used to not getting what she wants.”

When Kim first got with Kanye back in April Beyonce was said to be unimpressed. The private star fiercely guards her personal life and thought Kim was “trashy” for making a career out of her's.

Since then though Blue Ivy's mum was said to have warmed to the brunette and were seen hanging out together during the 'Watch The Throne' tour.

An eye witness at the festival however  confirmed the girls weren't exactly friendly towards each other, they told the New York Daily News newspaper: “Kim and Beyonce barely spoke to each other.

“They were on opposite sides of the stage. Beyonce didn't even acknowledge [Kim] was there until the concert was almost over.”
